“Rhythm Is My Business” è un album in studio del 1962 della cantante jazz Ella Fitzgerald. L'album è stato registrato con una big band arrangiata e diretta dall’organista R&B Bill Doggett, meglio conosciuto per le sue composizioni “Honky Tonk” e “Hippy Dippy”. Ella Fitzgerald è stata spesso definita come la First Lady of Song, regina del Jazz, e Lady Ella. Era nota per la purezza della sua voce, la dizione impeccabile, il fraseggio e l'intonazione, e una capacità di improvvisazione eccellente. In questo CD troviamo l'album originale completo “Rhythm Is My Business” (Verve V6-4056 ), in cui Ella Fitzgerald è affiancata da star del calibro di Phil Woods, Taft Jordan, Kai Winding, Melba Liston, e Hank Jones. Due canzoni non incluse nell’LP che completano le sessoni di registrazioni sono state aggiunte qui come bonus, così come un concerto dal vivo di Ella a Newport nel 1957.
