Questo album propone una performance dal vivo assolutamente inedita della grande Ella Fitzgerald registrata dal vivo ad Amsterdam nel 1961. La cantante รจ qui accompagnata dal suo gruppo abituale di quel periodo formato dal pianista Lou Levy, il chitarrista Herb Ellis, il bassista Wilfred Middlebrooks e il batterista Gus Johnson. Come bonus sono stati aggiunte le uniche due tracce conservate di una esibizione di Ella Fitzgerald al Carnegie Hall del 1953. Entrambi questi brani compaiono per la prima volta su cd.
