Questa pubblicazione ripropone il noto e celebrato concerto al Massey Hall di Toronto, in Canada, tenuto il 15 maggio 1953 da un strepitoso quintetto formato dai fondatori stessi del Bebop. Una formazione che non si sarebbe mai più riunita e che vede Charlie Parker al sax, Dizzy Gillespie alla tromba, Bud Powell al piano, Charles Mingus al contrabbasso e Max Roach alla batteria.
