La performance mai pubblicata di John Coltrane nel 1961 al Newport Jazz Festival. A quel tempo, il suo gruppo consisteva in un quintetto con Trane come unico sax, più pianoforte, due bassi e batteria. Come bonus, è stata aggiunta un'altra performance completa dello stesso anno, registrata ad Helsinki, in Finlandia, durante il tour in cui Eric Dolphy si è unito al gruppo. Questa è la prima volta che questo set viene presentato con l'intonazione corretta.
