“Gone with the Wind” (Columbia CL-1347) è stato l'album di Dave Brubeck che ha precedeuto l'acclamato “Time Out”. Il gruppo ha suonato molti di questi brani per la prima volta in studio, elaborandoli in modo spontaneo. L'album del 1961 “Time Further Out” (Columbia CS-8490), una continuazione ideale di Time Out in cui il quartetto esplora ancora soluzioni ritmiche inusuali, è stato aggiunto nella sua interezza come bonus.
