Questo doppio cd presenta la colonna sonora scritta dal compositore David Arnold per “Good Omens”, l'attesissimo adattamento televisivo del racconto di Neil Gaiman e di Terry Pratchett. Seguendo la strana coppia, l'angelo Aziraphale (Michael Sheen) e il demone Crowley (David Tennant) nel tentativo di sabotare la fine del mondo, la miniserie di sei episodi disponibile su Amazon Prime offre un’interessante punto di vista di questa storia potente e divertente. David Arnold è uno dei più importanti compositori cinematografici del Regno Unito e ha composto colonne sonore per film come Stargate, Le Cronache di Narnia, Independence Day, 2 Fast 2 Furious e Casino Royale. In questa occasione Arnold regala una colonna sonora che si integra perfettamente con il racconto e la sensibilità visiva di Good Omens. A volte nostalgica e inquietante ma sempre varia, ricca e piena di emozione, questa robusta colonna sonora diventa essa stessa un personaggio della storia. Il doppio album si chiude con l’interpretazione di Tori Amos di “A Nightingale Sang In Berkeley Square”.
