L'LP della svolta di Oliver Nelson, The Blues and the Abstract Truth. L'album con i luminari del jazz Freddie Hubbard, Eric Dolphy, Bill Evans, Paul Chambers e Roy Haynes, e contiene il brano "Stolen Moments", oggi considerato uno standard. In realtà, il brano era già stato registrato da Nelson l'anno precedente come "The Stolen Moment" in un album della big band di Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis intitolato Trane Whistle. Curiosamente, in questa prima versione (qui inclusa come bonus track) erano presenti anche Eric Dolphy e Roy Haynes, oltre a George Barrow.
