Questo doppio cd riunisce tutte le registrazioni realizzate in collaborazione dal chitarrista Grant Green e dall’organista Baby Face Willette come leader. Realizzate tra il 1961 e il 1962, queste registrazioni consistono negli album “First Stand” (Blue Note BST-84064) pubblicato a nome del chitarrista, e “Face to Face” (Blue Note BST-84068) e “Stop and Listen” (Blue Note BST-84084) pubblicati a nome dell’organista. Oltre a questi tre Lp come leader, Green e Willette hanno registrato insieme in quel periodo solo per un altro album, “Here ‘Tis” di Lou Donaldson, di cui è stata aggiunta la title track come bonus.
