Questa cofanetto da 5 cd riunisce tutte le registrazioni della grande Billie Holiday realizzate in studio con piccoli gruppi tra il 1952 e il 1957. In queste registrazioni, realizzate quando lavorava per le etichette di Norman Granz, Billie Holiday è accompagnata da molti dei migliori jazzisti dell’epoca. Come bonus è stata aggiunta una versione strumentale di “Just Friends” e le uniche tre alternate takes complete esistenti registrate durante quelle sessioni, una versione orchestrale di “Fine and Mellow” e le uniche due canzoni registrate dalla cantante presso l'Hotel Plaza nel 1958.
