Tra i punti salienti di questa registrazione ci sono le sole versioni registrate da Parker di alcuni brani come “Sly Mongoose” e “Gold Rush”. Come bonus, sono state aggiunte tre rare trasmissioni radiofoniche dal Birdland, incluse le uniche collaborazioni esistenti tra il sassofonista e il pianista Kenny Drew.
