Questa edizione da collezione riunisce tutte le registrazioni fatte da Elvis Presley tra il 1953 e il 1955 presso il Memphis Recording Service, meglio noto come Sun Studio, prima di firmare un nuovo contratto con la RCA-Victor. Sono state aggiunte anche 4 tracce bonus, tra cui registrazioni dal vivo di quello stesso periodo. Queste registrazioni, rimasterizzate per l’occasione, sono considerate le fondamenta della carriera di Elvis Presley e tra le più grandi registrazioni di rock & roll della storia.
